Insight Credit Union joins fight against premature birth at Lake/Sumter March for Babies
ORLANDO, FL (May 12, 2016) – Insight Credit Union joined the fight against premature birth at the March for Babies of Lake/Sumter Counties on Saturday, May 7, 2016.
As a bronze sponsor, Insight donated $1,500 to support healthy babies. The Credit Union also raised more than $750 at its four Lake County branches, increasing its contribution from last year by 222%. In addition to the financial support, Insight sponsored a spirit station during the walk to hand out refreshments and cheer walkers on.

Money raised through March for Babies is used by the March of Dimes Foundation to fund lifesaving research and programs to improve the health of mothers and their babies. The Foundation is dedicated to fighting premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality. This year, the March for Babies of Lake/Sumter Counties had nearly 300 participants and has raised $177,369 thus far.
