Insight Credit Union supports Lake/Sumter County March for Babies
ORLANDO, FL (May 19, 2015) – Insight Credit Union’s commitment to improving the well-being of the community continues with its support of the Lake/Sumter County March for Babies. Through their sponsorship and fundraising, Insight donated over $1,800 to the cause and provided much needed volunteers for the march on May 9, 2015.
“Insight was thrilled to support the March for Babies in their effort to give every baby a healthy start in life,” said Melissa Boyink, marketing director of Insight Credit Union. “We truly appreciate our employees and members who donated their time and efforts to this great cause.”
Money raised through March for Babies enables the March of Dimes Foundation to fund lifesaving research and programs to improve the health of moms and their babies. The Foundation also works to end premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality. This year, the Lake/Sumter County March for Babies had around 300 participants and is projected to raise more than $172,500.
