Insight Community Foundation, Inc.
The Insight Community Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) charitable foundation established to provide funding and support for the local communities where Insight Credit Union members and employees live and work. The Foundation is a separate, independent legal entity, incorporated in Florida and operated by a Board of Directors comprised of Insight Credit Union employees and directors.
The Foundation considers donations that carry on the education activities that improve the financial well-being and advancement at all educational levels, particularly in the underserved.
To be accepted, a proposed program or project should possess the following characteristics:
- Charitable purpose (as defined under the current IRS code)
- Program focuses on educational opportunities
- Program seeks to develop unique and advanced learning techniques
- Program supports the educational needs of local children and/or young adults

In addition to these donations, Insight Credit Union and the Insight Community Foundation participate in several fundraising events each year. The funds raised are distributed to local educational programs, organizations assisting children and military service members and their families. Additional support is also provided to local communities in the form of sponsorships including local non-profit charities, community sponsored events and local school athletic events.

The Insight Community Foundation is excited to celebrate one year of giving back to the Central Florida Community! Our mission is to support educational initiatives that improve the financial well-being and advancement of all educational levels - and we’ve certainly upheld that mission during the first year!
